Recorded in Audio 8 studios in Nottingham, our dedicated team battled to bring it kicking and screaming to life as fate conspired against us. But neither the pneumonia, the hearing loss nor the hard drive blowing up with cartoon sparks could prevent its birth and twelve glorious songs later it was complete... ...but there was something more, something deeper needed... Then Lucinda turned up with her antique cello and wove three hundred and fifty six years of its history into the songs - they deserved it, we wept. And so, many hazy months after the first notes were plucked we emerged, blinking in the sunlight, clutching the shiny disc and grinning from ear to ear. The battle had been won, luck stood victorious on the shoulders of hard work. The musicians, the magicians, and the people of bendigo-land stood back in awe to admire it.
